The input from neuroradiology, neurosurgery and allied health was crucial in the decision for Shayan to undergo a complex neurosurgery procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since the operation and thanks to the ongoing care from our team, the frequency and intensity of Shayan\u2019s seizures have significantly gone down and he is also reducing his medication intake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His mother said \u201cWe are very grateful to the team at Sidra Medicine \u2013 who took really good care of Shayan. Thanks to their guidance and expertise every step of the way, it gave us the assurance and confidence that he was receiving the best care possible. We also trusted them to perform the critical neurosurgery that has changed and improved his quality of life.
